Happy Memories by *SteTheStampede
This is my friends daughter, Elizabeth. She’s a little sweet heart and a few months ago we all went on a camping trip to Bala, Wales. Whilst we were there Laura, her mum, bought little Elizabeth an ice-cream. She looked so happy with herself that I couldn’t resist getting a snap of the moment.

Afternoon Glory by *SteTheStampede
Another shot from the river near Chanhe Xi Lu. I loved the colours of the building and the way the sunlight hit them and felt that the telephone lines gave the scene a sense of symmetry.
Taken on my Nikon D3000 and imported in Aperture.
Part way down the river at that cuts across the bottom of Xianning Dong Lu there was an area of land you could, if you were sneaky, jump across too, which I did. From that small man-made island I managed to get this shot. I really like the lighting in this image and the vibrancy of colours, but my favourite thing about it is the reflection of the archway in the water.
Taken on my Nikon D3000 and edited in Aperture.
Edits: A minor crop was made.
Nature Reclaims All by *SteTheStampede
I took this photograph when walking around 华清池 - Hauqingchi (Hauqing Hot Springs). I really love how a part of the building was being slowly eaten by ivy - and more so how in this shot, it looks like nature is reclaiming the land again.
Haunqingchi is a truly magical place to walk around, if you ever find yourself in Xi’An, China, I recommend taking the bus to visit it.
This photograph on the most part is completely un-edited, I had to do some colour correction due to the smog of Xi’An, but otherwise it’s un edited.
Taken with my Nikon D3000 and edited in Aperture.
Edits: Minor colour correct due to the smog.
This is my friend, Britt, when we were living in Xi’an, China. We decided to go for a walk one day down to what we thought was a river, but turn out to be a dried up river for the most part.
Taken with my Nikon D3000 and imported and rendered in Aperture.
Mockingbird by *SteTheStampede
I went on a trip to Chester Zoo a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and managed to get plenty of photographs. I don’t know what type of bird this is, so if anyone knows then please let me know as I have absolutely no idea
Taken with my Nikon D3000 and edited in Aperture.
Edits: Vignette added.
No Buyers Today by *SteTheStampede
I was walking around a out-door food market in Xi’an, China, trying to be sneaky and attempting some shots “from the hip”. I managed to catch a picture of this couple selling trying to sell some meat.
Taken on my Nikon D3000 and edited in Aperture.
Edits: Black & White, Cropped
Taxi by *SteTheStampede
I was walking around Hong Kong island when I saw this line of Red & White taxi’s and couldn’t resist a snap shot. I’m really happy with the way it turned out.
Taken with my Nikon D3000 and edited in Aperture. Edits: Desaturation on everywhere but the red of the taxi. Cropped.
A Peaceful Place by *SteTheStampede
During the last week of my stay in Xi’an, I visited the 华清池 - Hauqingchi (Hauqing Hot Springs)
It’s an incredibly old and important hot springs in Xi’an, most recently being the location of the Xi’an Incident (google it if you’ve never heard of it)
Taken on my Nikon D3000 and edited slightly in Aperture. Contrast heightened slightly and vignette added.

Lights Will Guide You Home by *SteTheStampede
This is a picture I got of my friend Yanzi one afternoon when her, myself and Steven (my friend and her boyfriend) went for Ice-Cream. She was eating her way through an Ice-cream Sunday when I snapped this picture of her, I’m really pleased with the way it turned out as she looks incredibly happy.
The only editing I have done to this picture was a slight cropping and changed the red curve of the image to give it that pink hue.
